This is an old map of Africa on canvas, dating back to the early 19th century. The map size is 113 cm x 93 cm (44" x 36"), and it’s in a fantastic, hand-carved frame full of details. We made the frame of massive antique wood with two fine bronze hangers. Decorative copper nails dot the surface of the wood, which has a light chestnut brown colour and matte finish. The map itself is high quality. We use great quality canvas to craft the map. You can find accurate information about the continent at the time the map was first made. Inset maps on the edge show the Colony of the Cape of Good Hope, Liberia, and Egypt, while an illustration compares the highest picks of the Principal Mountains and the lengths of the longest rivers of Africa.Beautiful piece of wall art for a history buff
