The Environs Of Paris 1856
The original title of the map is The Environs Of Paris. They published it in Colton’s atlas in 1856. Paris is shown here without colors, however, the map does not look plain. It has a beautiful ornamental barbed wire border illustration. We printed the map from a high-resolution image. We put a lot of effort into making sure that each of the map details is visible and comfortably readable. The size of the old map of Paris is 150 cm x 136 cm (59" x 54").Old frame
Besides the map being a reprint of a map from the 19th century, you will get it framed in a wooden frame that has some history to it. We make the frame of repurposed wood from trees that were cut down over a century ago. We like to reuse old wooden articles that have a lot of character but are not useful in their current form anymore. This way, we can add authenticity to the final product.
